The CAP Money Course is a revolutionary money management course that teaches people budgeting skills and a simple, cash-based system that really works. This course will help anyone to get more in control of their finances, so they can save, give and prevent debt. The CAP Money Course is a course devised by the award winning debt counselling charity, Christians Against Poverty.  More than 1,100 churches run the course, and over 10,000 people benefit from it each year.

Our latest CAP course took place in September 2016.  We will be running more courses in the future - to find out more or to book a place on the next course, contact Tom Frank on 654271, or James Shand on 684014.

Every month the Diocese publishes a news bulletin of interest to anyone in the Diocese - known as the Diocese Messenger. To download a copy of the latest edition click on this link.

Our Church Weekend away this year took place at Hothorpe Hall in Leicestershire from November 3-5.  About 170 adults and children attended as we enjoyed a wonderful weekend of fun, fellowship, faith, and looking to the future.

Our guest speaker was Richard Coekin, who oversees the Co-Mission network of churches in South London.  He spoke powerfully on the book of Jonah, and we were all deeply challenged about our attitude to God's work, and to those who know little or nothing of Christ.  If you would like to hear recordings of Richard's talks they can be found on the links below.

We were also very grateful for the help of Tim Partridge, Katy Barker and a team of students who looked after the younger members for the weekend, as they also studied the book of Jonah  - and memorably managed to summarise the book in 16 words!

We are thinking ahead to another weekend away - perhaps in a couple of years!

Jonah 1 - The Storm
