The CAP Money Course is a revolutionary money management course that teaches people budgeting skills and a simple, cash-based system that really works. This course will help anyone to get more in control of their finances, so they can save, give and prevent debt. The CAP Money Course is a course devised by the award winning debt counselling charity, Christians Against Poverty.  More than 1,100 churches run the course, and over 10,000 people benefit from it each year.

Our latest CAP course took place in September 2016.  We will be running more courses in the future - to find out more or to book a place on the next course, contact Tom Frank on 654271, or James Shand on 684014.

Every month the Diocese publishes a news bulletin of interest to anyone in the Diocese - known as the Diocese Messenger. To download a copy of the latest edition click on this link.

Our Men’s Reading Group was primarily for the purpose of reading Christian books. We meet on third Saturday monthly in St. David’s Centre at 8.30 am for a cooked breakfast, fellowship, discussion on our current book and prayer. We have recently been reading; The Heavenly Man, Why the Reformation Still Matters, Why Men Hate Going to Church and The Case for Christ. All men are welcome whether or not they have been able to read the book but it is helpful to let Mark Taylor (01608 652564) know if you are coming for catering purposes. Alternatively please sign up on the sheet provided on the Welcome Desk at the back of Church.

As well as our monthly book reading breakfast, during 2018 we had a visiting speaker and more will be scheduled. It is our aim to reach out to men who wish to know more about the Christian Faith and to this end our group is now affiliated to Christian Vision for Men (CVM). It is a movement that provides training, support and resources for groups across the UK. Please see their website www.cvm.org.uk .

In order to get to know more men we are planning a number of other activities namely pub meal and skittles, visit to Didcot Railway Centre and a day’s sea fishing trip.

We have 21 guests and no members online
